Service Designer
Service Designer - Public Sector/GDS - SC Cleared
I'm working with a public sector consultancy who are looking for an experienced Service Designer to shape end-to-end demand-to-delivery journeys and ensure services work coherently across policy, product and operations.
Contract: 23/03 - 15/05 (likely extension)
Day Rate: £500-£575 per day (Inside IR35)
Location: Remote (with onboarding in London)
Clearance: Active SC clearance essential
You will:
Design and refine end-to-end demand-to-delivery journeys, ensuring they are clear, usable and joined-up.
Clarify boundaries, handoffs and interactions between policy, product and operational teams.
Ensure the overall service model is coherent, efficient and aligned with user and business needs.
Work closely with product, delivery, policy and operations to embed service design best practice.
Essential Experience
Proven Service Designer in UK public sector, with strong GDS experience (service standards, phases, design principles).
Track record of mapping and improving complex, multi-team services end-to-end.
Comfortable facilitating workshops and working with senior stakeholders across disciplines.
Active SC clearance (in-date and transferable).
