Workday Finance Consultant
Location: UK-based
Overview
We are currently looking for a UK-based Workday Finance Consultant to support a growing pipeline of Workday Finance transformation and optimisation projects.
This role would suit someone with strong functional knowledge of the Workday Financials suite, who is confident working closely with stakeholders to support implementations, enhancements, process improvement, and post-go-live optimisation.
The ideal candidate will have experience across finance transformation programmes and be comfortable engaging with both business and technical teams to deliver high-quality Workday Finance solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the design, configuration, and optimisation of Workday Financials
- Work closely with finance stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into system solutions
- Deliver support across implementation, enhancement, and business-as-usual project work
- Provide functional expertise across core finance processes within Workday
- Support process improvement and help drive efficiency across finance operations
- Partner with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
- Assist with testing, user training, and post-implementation support
- Ensure solutions are aligned with business needs and Workday best practice
Requirements
- Proven experience working with Workday Financials
- Strong understanding of finance processes and finance systems
- Experience supporting Workday implementations, enhancements, or optimisation projects
- Ability to engage effectively with finance and business stakeholders
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Must be UK-based
- Full right to work in the UK
Desirable
- Experience across broader Workday modules
- Previous experience in finance transformation programmes
- Workday certifications
- Experience in stakeholder-facing consultancy environments
