Business Development Representative | Cyber Security & Networking Solutions

Location: Hampshire

Compensation: £30k base dependent on experience + uncapped commission (circa £10k first year)

A fast-growing UK-based Cyber Security and Networking solutions provider is seeking a motivated and proactive Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive outbound lead generation and pipeline development. What You’ll Be Doing

  • Proactively identify, qualify, and nurture new business opportunities through outbound outreach
  • Use a mix of cold calling, email sequencing, LinkedIn engagement, and event follow-ups to connect with senior decision-makers
  • Build awareness and generate interest in advanced Cyber Security and Networking solutions
  • Book meetings by understanding prospect challenges, needs, and timelines
  • Collaborate closely with sales and marketing teams to refine campaigns and drive results
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and ensure pipeline momentum
  • Attend industry events to represent the business and create valuable connections
  • Share prospect feedback to continuously improve lead-generation strategies

What We’re Looking For

  • MSP / Service Provider experience would be ideal; or commercial awareness and curiosity about cyber security and networking
  • Strong emotional intelligence with the ability to build rapport quickly
  • Clear, confident, and empathetic communication skills
  • Resilient, motivated, and adaptable under pressure
  • Self-starter mindset with ownership of personal development
  • Enthusiastic, open to feedback, and thrives in a fast-paced environment

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Previous experience in business development, sales, or lead generation within Cyber Security or Technology
  • Familiarity with industry terminology and key decision-making processes
