A high-growth, consumer-led services organisation is seeking a Digital & Technology Director to lead its digital transformation and technology strategy - driving innovation, efficiency, and customer experience across a nationwide operation.

Operating across 100+ UK sites, this business is investing heavily in technology to support ambitious expansion plans. Responsible for a multi-million £ combined CapEx and OpEx budget, this is a hands-on strategic leadership role overseeing internal and external technology delivery, vendor management, and digital evolution.

Location: Stratford-Upon-Avon District (Hybrid / flexible onsite)

The Opportunity

The Digital & Technology Director will shape and deliver the technology roadmap across the organisation - modernising systems, strengthening vendor partnerships, and ensuring digital investments deliver measurable business outcomes.

Projects in flight and planned include multiple system upgrades / transformations, app and website modernisation, network refresh, and automation initiatives - all focused on enhancing efficiency, data insight, and the overall customer journey.

This position will suit a commercially minded technology leader from a consumer-driven or service-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and deliver the digital and technology strategy aligned to business growth goals.
• Lead and mature vendor relationships - negotiating contracts, driving accountability, and ensuring ROI.
• Oversee strategic programmes spanning infrastructure, cloud, CRM, ERP, and customer-facing digital platforms.
• Partner with key business stakeholders to enable data-driven decision-making and operational improvement.
• Build and develop a high-performing, cross-functional digital and IT team.
• Champion a culture of innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.

About You

• Senior leader with experience as Digital, Technology, or IT Director / CTO in a consumer-led or service business.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale digital transformation and modernisation.
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills, with commercial ownership of significant budgets.
• Hands-on, delivery-focused mindset with the ability to operate strategically.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
