The Role
This is a client-facing, revenue-generating New Business Account Manager position within a growing IT services environment.
You will take ownership of a portfolio of customers while actively driving new business opportunities, managing the full sales lifecycle, and building long-term, value-led relationships.
This role is consultative and commercially driven, suited to someone who thrives on developing partnerships, identifying opportunities, and delivering measurable outcomes for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and develop a portfolio of customers, driving revenue growth and retention
- Build strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders across multiple levels
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within your territory
- Manage the full sales lifecycle from opportunity identification through to delivery
- Proactively generate and maintain a healthy, sustainable sales pipeline
- Identify and convert cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across IT solutions and services
- Prepare and deliver quotations, proposals, and bid documentation
- Act as a trusted advisor, aligning solutions to customer business and IT objectives
- Deliver accurate forecasting and pipeline reporting to senior leadership
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement
- Ensure adherence to internal processes and compliance standards (including ISO frameworks)
- Maintain strong knowledge of the IT market and evolving technology landscape
- Effectively utilise CRM systems to manage pipeline, activity, and customer engagement
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in IT sales, account management, or business development
- Strong track record of both winning new business and growing existing accounts
- Consultative sales approach with the ability to understand customer challenges and align solutions
- Commercially astute with strong negotiation and closing skills
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management capability
- Confident managing multiple opportunities and priorities simultaneously
- Target-driven, motivated, and results-focused mindset
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
