Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) based in Surrey, with flexibility for remote working.
The SDR will play a key role in generating new business opportunities by identifying and engaging potential clients through outbound prospecting activities. Responsibilities include initiating contact with prospects via phone, email, and social channels, qualifying leads, and booking meetings for the wider sales team.
The role involves working closely with sales and marketing teams to build a strong pipeline, contribute to revenue growth, and ensure a consistent and high-quality customer experience from first touchpoint.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct outbound prospecting through calls, emails, and digital channels to generate new leads
- Identify and qualify potential customers within target markets
- Book qualified meetings and demos for Account Managers
- Maintain accurate records of activities and pipeline in CRM systems
- Collaborate with marketing and sales teams on campaigns and outreach strategies
- Develop a strong understanding of the company’s solutions across Connectivity, Cloud, Managed Services, and Cyber Security
- Consistently meet or exceed activity and pipeline generation targets
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous experience in sales, lead generation, or customer-facing roles is desirable but not essential
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Confident, resilient, and comfortable engaging with new prospects
- Target-driven mindset with a proactive and self-motivated approach
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Interest in technology, IT services, or cyber security is advantageous
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is beneficial but not required
