Overview

Our client are looking for a consultative, insight-led seller who can turn business problems into solutions, MVPs, and scaled delivery programmes across custom Software, Data Platforms, Analytics/AI and systems integrations.

This is a full-cycle role owning complex 3–9 month sales motions. You'll lead discovery workshops, frame hypotheses and ROI narratives, orchestrate architects and delivery teams, and build multi-threaded stakeholder alignment across Product, Digital, Data, Ops and Finance.

You will be responsible for building a healthy, stage-balanced pipeline and closing high-value project and programme deals (£50k–£300k+).

This role is ideal for someone experienced in solution-led, project-based selling who thrives in ambiguity and can shape opportunities from scratch rather than wait for fully-formed requirements.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3 - 6+ years of B2B consultative selling in the UK, with a strong emphasis on Custom Software / AI / Analytics
  • Proven track record of £1m+ annual TCV delivery with average deal sizes of £150k–£300k+.
  • Experience taking ambiguous or loosely defined client problems through discovery → funded engagement → MVP/pilot → scaled delivery.
  • Strong conceptual fluency in custom software development, data platforms, analytics/AI and integrations.
  • Skilled at multi-stakeholder selling across Product, Digital, Data, Ops and Finance.
  • Strong qualification, stage management, deal strategy and negotiation competencies.
  • Competent user of a modern CRM, LinkedIn Sales Navigator and outbound sequencing tools.

Desirable

  • Experience selling into product-led, digital-first or data-mature organisations.
  • Familiarity with analytics/AI use cases (dashboards, forecasting, optimisation, ML-powered features).
  • Background working closely with architects, delivery leads or consultants.
  • Experience in boutique consulting environments where propositions are co-created rather than pre-packaged.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and longer, non-linear sales cycles.
