Programme Management Office (PMO) Analyst

In their PMO (Programme Management Office) Analyst role, you’ll play a critical role in supporting the delivery of projects and programmes within their organisation. This role involves coordinating programme and project activities, ensuring adherence to established methodologies, and providing key insights and data analysis to aid decision-making. PMO Analysts are the linchpins who help drive efficiency and effectiveness in project and programme execution.

Location: Hybrid - minimum of 1 day p/week in either our Rushden, Milton Keynes, Peterborough or Boston offices.

Salary: Up to £40,600 per annum

Contract: Permanent / Full-Time

Your week: 36.25 hours p/week (9am – 5.15pm Monday to Friday, with 1-hour lunch)

Snapshot of your role

This is what your day will look like as their PMO Analyst:

  • Enabling governance reporting, drive project and programme cadence, and ensure teams are aligned with strategic priorities and PMO standards .
  • Conduct rigorous reviews of project reporting and artefacts, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Take charge of insights and analytics—consolidate and interpret project data to influence decision-making, highlight risks, and track benefits and budgets with precision.
  • Stakeholder engagement—facilitate clear communication across the programme, manage key meetings, and ensure actions and decisions are followed through.
  • Be the engine behind PMO tools and processes—manage core systems like SharePoint and PPM tools and empower teams through training and continuous improvement.
  • Champion transformation—identify opportunities to enhance delivery, embed lessons learned, and drive innovation across the PMO function and wider division

Your toolkit for success

To thrive in their PMO Analyst role, you’ll need:

  • Previous experience in a PMO or project management role, with a track record of successful project delivery.
  • Previous experience of key PMO processes, such as RAID, change control and actions management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and present data clearly.
  • Previous utilisation of project management tools
  • Adaptable to work in both structured and ambiguous situations, adjusting when expectations change.
