We’re working with a growing climate tech company looking for a Product Owner to come in and make an immediate impact on a key API and platform suite used across the UK and Europe.

This isn’t a “sit and observe” role, you’ll be expected to get up to speed quickly, bring structure, and start delivering value from the outset.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of an existing API and platform suite, working closely with engineering and stakeholders to bring clarity, prioritisation, and momentum to the product.

Key focus areas will include:

• Assessing the current backlog and bringing structure and prioritisation quickly
• Translating requirements into clear, development-ready user stories
• Driving short-term delivery and tangible product improvements
• Aligning stakeholders and ensuring clear communication and progress visibility
• Supporting delivery of features, integrations, and platform enhancements

What You’ll Be Brought In To Do

• Hit the ground running and get up to speed quickly with minimal handholding
• Bring clarity to the backlog and improve delivery efficiency
• Work closely with engineers on a data-heavy, API-driven platform
• Deliver measurable outcomes within the 3-month period
• Help stabilise and accelerate product delivery during a key phase

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience as a Product Owner / Product Manager in contract roles
• Track record of delivering impact quickly in short engagements
• Experience working with APIs, data platforms, or SaaS products
• Strong stakeholder management and decision-making ability
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments
• Able to work hybrid in Bristol (2-3 days per week)
