They're a fast-growing company helping homeowners improve energy efficiency, reduce bills, and cut carbon footprints. Their platform manages complex home retrofit projects from assessment to installation, using data-driven tools and automation to scale effectively.

The Role

You’ll work closely with senior engineers and collaborate across product, delivery, and growth teams.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you’ll build and improve the systems that power our operations, including our backend platform (Django + PostgreSQL), energy modelling systems, and internal tools for coordinators, surveyors, and installers.

You’ll tackle real-world data, streamline processes, and ship features end-to-end, balancing quick fixes with larger feature work.

What You’ll Bring

• Professional experience building web applications used by real users.
• Strong Python and Django skills (or ability to learn quickly) and comfort across the stack, including frontend interactivity (HTMX/Alpine.js).
• Ability to work with ambiguity, make trade-offs, and solve the right problems.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Interest in modern engineering practices and leveraging AI where it adds value.
