We re looking for a Control Systems Engineer to join their technical team, contributing to the design, software development, and integration of embedded systems across complex engineering applications.
This is a hands-on, varied role covering the full project lifecycle from concept design and development through to testing, validation, and optimisation.
Candidates from automotive, aerospace, robotics, or industrial automation backgrounds are encouraged to apply, as the skills are highly transferable to this position.

What You ll Be Doing
- Design and integrate control and electrical architectures for advanced engineering systems
 - Develop embedded control software using industry-standard tools (e.g. Matlab / Simulink)
 - Configure and optimise system software to meet functional and performance requirements
 - Support prototype build, commissioning, and testing phases
 - Analyse data to validate control functionality and optimise performance
 - Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
 
- Degree in Electrical, Control Systems, or similar engineering discipline
 - Experience in embedded control system design and development
 - Strong understanding of CAN communication networks
 - Electrical schematic design experience
 - Familiarity with powertrain, high-voltage, or mechatronic systems
 - Analytical and problem-solving approach with strong attention to detail
 
- Use of calibration and diagnostic tools
 - Knowledge of functional safety and associated standards
 - Experience with system testing and validation
 - Familiarity with version control tools such as Git
 - Technical documentation and report writing
 
- Work on technically challenging projects with a forward-thinking engineering team
 - Involvement across full system lifecycle from concept through to delivery
