Finance Administration Assistant
A growing IT Solutions and Managed Services organisation supporting small to medium-sized businesses is seeking a part-time Finance and Office Assistant to join a small, friendly team. The business delivers consultancy, installation, and IT support services across a wide range of sectors including medical, veterinary, real estate, construction, finance, leisure, retail, hospitality, warehousing, and office environments.
This position supports general office operations including bookkeeping, finance tasks, administrative and clerical duties, handling customer calls, managing ticket logs and sales enquiries, and providing support to the Finance & Operations Manager, senior leadership, and the support centre.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Experience with Xero or similar accounting software
- Strong administrative skills
- Desirable: experience in sales, marketing, or social media management
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls for senior leadership, sales, and support teams
- Perform general administrative and clerical duties
- Daily bookkeeping using Xero
- Set up and maintain customer contracts
- Coordinate courier and postal services
- Order supplier goods, office equipment, and sundries
- Assist with sourcing products and preparing client quotes
- Prepare mileage and expense claims
- Liaise with supplier and customer accounts departments
- Update social media content (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn)
- Conduct weekly fire alarm testing
- Greet visitors and customers
This is a busy and varied role requiring a self-motivated individual who can deliver tasks to a high standard and maintain a pleasant, professional manner both in person and over the phone.
