IT Support Manager
A leading financial software vendor is seeking an experienced IT Support Manager to take ownership of its internal support function and drive operational excellence across a fast-growing, regulated environment. This is a hands-on leadership role, ideal for someone who thrives in a high-accountability setting and understands the demands of modern financial-services technology.
The Role
You will lead and develop a small but capable internal IT team, ensuring the smooth delivery of support, infrastructure operations, and release management. Working closely with engineering, product, and compliance stakeholders, you’ll shape processes, strengthen controls, and ensure the business remains aligned with key regulatory and security frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and mentor internal IT support teams, setting standards for performance, documentation, and service delivery
• Oversee day-to-day support operations, including incident management, escalations, and stakeholder communication
• Own release management processes, coordinating with development teams to ensure controlled, well-documented deployments
• Deliver small-scale project management across infrastructure, tooling, and process-improvement initiatives
• Maintain and enhance internal IT policies, controls, and audit readiness
• Collaborate with compliance and security teams to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements
• Drive continuous improvement across support workflows, monitoring, and reporting
Essential Experience
• Proven experience managing IT support or service-desk teams within a software, fintech, or financial-services environment
• Strong understanding of ISO27001 and its practical application within an operational setting
• Background in release management, change control, and structured deployment processes
• Solid technical grounding across Windows, networking, cloud services, and enterprise tooling
Desirable
• Exposure to ISO 27701 (privacy information management)
- Familiarity with DORA (Digital Operational Resilience Act) and its impact on IT operations, incident reporting, and resilience planning
• Experience working with financial-sector clients or regulated environments
• Knowledge of ITIL frameworks and best practices
