QA/Test Engineer

We’re looking for a QA Engineer with strong automated testing experience to join our growing software team in the Taunton area.

In this role, you’ll work across a range of software projects, helping us deliver reliable, scalable, and user-focused solutions. You’ll take ownership of test planning, automation, and quality processes, ensuring our releases are robust and our engineering teams are set up for success. What You’ll Be Doing

• Designing and executing test plans across web and software applications

• Building and maintaining automated test suites (UI, API, regression)

• Working closely with developers, BAs, and product teams to embed quality early

• Contributing to test strategy, tooling decisions, and continuous improvement

• Performing functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing

• Supporting CI/CD pipelines and ensuring automated tests run reliably

• Helping shape best practices around documentation, defect management, and release readiness

What We’re Looking For

• Experience as a QA Engineer / Software Tester on commercial software projects

• Strong automation skills using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar

• Solid understanding of testing principles, defect lifecycle, and Agile delivery

• Experience testing APIs (Postman, RestAssured, etc.)

• Ability to write clear test cases, scenarios, and automation scripts

• A proactive mindset with a passion for improving processes and product quality

• Comfortable working hybrid with regular onsite collaboration in Taunton
