Senior Cybersecurity Engineer - Border region - 3 days onsite per week
Our client is a global manufacturing company with a number of offices in Ireland and internationally and has partnered with IT Search to engage a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.
The role
- Join the existing team with responsibility for a range of potential threats across internal systems and networks
- Manage incident and vulnerability risk assessment and mitigation steps, Business Continuity and general Cybersecurity posture – specifically tasked to manage various risk programmes
- Maintain and improve existing policies and procedures to best practice and compliance
- Work with various business heads to design and execute safe architecture and audits
- Take responsibility for employee training needs
Requirements
- 10 years of commercial security experience, ideally within a large firm or multinational
- Significant Certifications and Training (ISO, CRISC, NIST, GICSP etc.)
- High level of comfort with specific cybersecurity tools relating to hardware, firewalls
- Track record of forensic work and incident management
- Ability to work onsite three days per week
- Exceptional communication skills
