Full Stack ASP.Net / API / SQLServer Developer

ASP.NET / SQL Server Developer — Cloud Migration & API Platform Build - DBS Clearance will need to be obtained. 1-2 days a week on site.

Our Surrey based client is seeking an ASP.NET / SQL Server Developer for a 5-6 month Contract to LEAD a legacy system modernisation project.

The role involves designing and building a secure API layer to extract and transform data from an existing database, migrating and storing that data within a cloud platform, and developing a modern, user-friendly application interface for users / stakeholders. You will be responsible for end-to-end solution delivery including data integration, API development, cloud data storage architecture, reporting and statistics dashboards, and workflow enablement.

The ideal candidate needs to have strong, STAND ALONE experience in ASP.NET, API, SQL Server, cloud services, and application development, with the ability to translate legacy structures into scalable, well-documented, and maintainable modern systems.

The Project

• Extracting and transforming data from an existing legacy SQL Server database
• Migrating and storing structured data in a cloud-hosted environment
• Designing and building secure ASP.NET APIs for data access and integration
• Developing a user-friendly application interface for operational users
• Implementing reporting, statistics, and workflow functionality
• Creating a maintainable and scalable architecture for future growth
