Linux Platform Engineer

Join a high-performing Infrastructure & Platform team supporting a wide range of modern, mixed-environment deployments. We're looking for an experienced Linux Engineer with strong automation skills and a passion for building reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure.

What You'll Do

• Administer and automate Linux systems (primarily on-prem, with some cloud).

• Deliver project work across the full life cycle: design build deploy support.

• Work with virtualisation stacks, container platforms, and mixed OS environments.

• Monitor and optimise performance, analyse logs, and resolve infrastructure issues.

• Manage patching, backups, and vulnerability remediation.

• Configure and enhance monitoring tools and automation pipelines.

• Communicate directly with customers and handle escalations when needed.

• Participate in an on-call rotation (with office-hours base in Stockport).
