Linux Platform Engineer – Stockport (Hybrid)
Join a high-performing Infrastructure & Platform team supporting a wide range of modern, mixed-environment deployments. We’re looking for an experienced Linux Engineer with strong automation skills and a passion for building reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure.
What You’ll Do- Administer and automate Linux systems (primarily on-prem, with some cloud).
- Deliver project work across the full lifecycle: design build deploy support.
- Work with virtualisation stacks, container platforms, and mixed OS environments.
- Monitor and optimise performance, analyse logs, and resolve infrastructure issues.
- Manage patching, backups, and vulnerability remediation.
- Configure and enhance monitoring tools and automation pipelines.
- Communicate directly with customers and handle escalations when needed.
- Participate in an on-call rotation (with office-hours base in Stockport).

- Automation: Ansible, Terraform
