Application Consultant
Overview
IT Works Recruitment is currently partnering with a leading Epicor Partner seeking an experienced Epicor Application/Business Consultant to join their expanding professional services team. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic consultancy delivering high-quality Epicor ERP solutions across a variety of industries.
The successful candidate will play a key role in the full project lifecycle, from requirements gathering and system design through to implementation, training and post go-live support.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead client discovery sessions to understand business requirements and translate them into effective Epicor configurations.
- Deliver end-to-end implementation services, including process design, system configuration, data migration, testing and go-live support.
- Provide expert guidance on best practices and identify opportunities for process optimisation and business improvement.
- Collaborate with technical teams, project managers and client stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Deliver user training and produce detailed system documentation.
- Support pre-sales activities such as demonstrations, scoping workshops and proposal input where required.
- Maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
- Stay up to date with new Epicor functionality, tools and partner methodologies.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in Epicor ERP implementation within a consulting or partner environment.
- Strong knowledge of one or more Epicor modules (Finance, Manufacturing, Distribution, Planning, or Supply Chain).
- Excellent business process understanding and ability to align Epicor functionality with client requirements.
- Hands-on experience with BAQs, Dashboards, and SSRS reporting.
- Familiarity with BPMs, Customisations and SQL desirable.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Epicor certification or formal training would be advantageous.
