NetSuite Administrator

A well-established international business is looking for a Finance Systems Specialist to oversee and optimise their Oracle NetSuite platform. This role will serve as the go-to contact for all system-related matters within the finance function, ensuring seamless performance and continuous improvement of the ERP ecosystem.

The ideal candidate will come from a finance systems background with strong exposure to NetSuite and a deep understanding of financial operations. This role is key to the digital transformation of the organisation’s financial processes.

Location: Hybrid working model – 1-2 days in-office per week initially, with flexibility to reduce to 1-2 days per month after on boarding. Head office based in the Midlands.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and enhance system user roles and access controls, ensuring robust data governance and security protocols.
  • Serve as the lead for system issue resolution and internal support, collaborating across departments to provide effective solutions and guidance.
  • Manage system configurations and updates, including scheduling and testing NetSuite releases and enhancements.
  • Oversee and maintain integrations between NetSuite and third-party platforms, ensuring consistent data flow and operational efficiency.
  • Drive improvements in financial planning through administration of Oracle PBCS (Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service).
  • Standardise and streamline business processes across teams using NetSuite’s automation tools, including SuiteFlow, SuiteScript, and custom workflow development.
  • Conduct regular data quality reviews, cleansing, and validation checks to support accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Stay abreast of product developments and ensure the platform evolves with the business needs.

Desired Experience:

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience supporting or managing Oracle NetSuite within a finance-heavy environment.
  • Strong track record in ERP administration, ideally with prior exposure to financial modules and reporting tools such as SuiteAnalytics and SuiteBuilder.
  • Experience in systems integrations, data migrations, and testing upgrades/patches.
  • Solid understanding of finance cycles (O2C, P2P, R2R) and how they translate into ERP functionality.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and work collaboratively with internal users and external partners.
  • Proficiency in workflow automation and customisation tools (e.g., saved searches, custom fields, dashboards).
  • Familiarity with NSPB and PBCS considered highly beneficial.
  • Oracle NetSuite certifications (Administrator, ERP Consultant) are a plus.
