NetSuite System Engineer/Manager

£75K–£80K + Excellent Package London – Hybrid

Overview

We are looking for a high-calibre, cross-functional Business Systems Engineer to own, support, and continuously enhance our client’s core business platforms. The role spans ERP, CRM, accounting, data services, and integrations, with a strong emphasis on automation, optimisation, and scalability.

The successful candidate will bring deep experience across enterprise systems such as NetSuite, HubSpot, and Microsoft Azure Data Services, alongside modern integration platforms. You will play a key role in ensuring systems are secure, well-governed, and aligned to business objectives, while driving ongoing innovation and improvement.

This is a highly collaborative position, partnering with technical teams, business stakeholders, and third-party vendors to deliver dependable systems, high-quality data, and seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, support, and optimise core platforms including NetSuite.
  • Manage day-to-day operations, maintenance, support, and change requests across the business systems landscape.
  • Design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements using scripting and automation tools (e.g. SuiteScript, JavaScript, SQL, Azure Logic Apps).
  • Oversee and maintain system integrations to ensure secure, reliable data flows between platforms.
  • Manage user provisioning, roles, permissions, and access controls.
  • Monitor system performance, scheduled processes, usage, and data quality.
  • Lead or support end-to-end systems projects, from requirements through to delivery and change management.
  • Own NetSuite change control and semi-annual release management.
  • Ensure strong ERP and CRM data governance, integrity, security, and compliance.
  • Provide second-line support and deliver ongoing user training.
  • Maintain clear system documentation, policies, and procedures.
  • Work with third-party vendors to resolve issues, deliver enhancements, and uphold SLAs.
  • Identify and recommend new technologies to enhance the systems landscape.
  • Support budgeting and supplier management within the Information Systems function.
  • Produce technical specifications and solution documentation with business analysts.
  • Deliver consistently high service levels to internal stakeholders.

Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years’ hands-on experience administering and optimising NetSuite Finance and CRM.
  • Experience with HubSpot, Celigo, and enterprise integrations is highly desirable.
  • Strong Microsoft SQL expertise, including stored procedures and procedural SQL.
  • Solid experience with Microsoft Azure services, particularly SQL and Logic Apps.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver automation, scripting, and system customisations.
  • Strong understanding of financial systems, CRM platforms, and end-to-end business processes.
  • Experience managing data quality, deduplication, reporting, and reconciliation across multiple sources.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly document complex systems.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and prioritisation capabilities.

Desirable

  • MS SharePoint experience.
  • Exposure to website and e-commerce integrations.
  • Familiarity with Bottomline Technologies solutions.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  • Good understanding of the SDLC.
