We're supporting a global organisation entering Phase 2 of a Workday Launch programme following a successful Phase 1 go-live. The platform is live for ~700 employees across UK, US, Germany and Switzerland, and Phase 2 will deliver the next tranche of Workday functionality and optimisation under the Accelerated / Launch methodology.
We're looking for a strong Workday Cutover & E2E Testing Lead to take full ownership of these workstreams through Phase 2 delivery.
Key Responsibilities
E2E Testing

- Plan and manage E2E testing cycles, including timelines, resources, and cross-country coordination.
- Ensure full traceability from unit outcomes into E2E validation and readiness.
- Drive test script production and loading into the agreed test management tool.
- Run defect governance and triage with delivery partners, tracking trends and closure.
- Produce clear testing status reporting and readiness recommendations for Go/No-Go.
Cutover
- Create and own the Cutover Strategy and Cutover Plan / Runbook for Phase 2.
- Coordinate all pre-go-live readiness activities and dependencies across internal teams and suppliers.
- Lead cutover rehearsals and final execution into production.
- Support hypercare entry with structured handover and stabilisation checkpoints.
Essential experience
- Proven contract/consulting background leading Workday testing and cutover workstreams.
- Strong Workday Launch / Accelerated Launch delivery experience.
- Hands-on ownership of E2E testing strategy and execution on Workday programmes.
- Deep understanding of Workday integrations and how to validate/sequence them through testing and cutover.
- Multi-country rollout experience (stakeholder coordination across regions/time zones).
- Confident producing exec-level readiness updates and Go/No-Go insight.
Nice to have
- Experience on Phase 2 / post-go-live extension programmes.
- Background across HCM expansions and integration-heavy releases.
