Frontend Developer (Leeds)
Main purpose of role:
We are looking for a talented and creative Frontend Developer to join our team and help shape the digital experience of our brand. As a key player in our Digital team, you will be responsible for crafting intuitive, engaging, and user-friendly web interfaces that resonate with parents and caregivers. Your expertise in front-end technologies will ensure that our digital platforms maintain seamless functionality, aesthetic appeal, and mobile responsiveness, enhancing the customer journey.

Frontend development of Ickle Bubba sites globally.

Full-time: Monday-Friday, 37.5 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality, responsive, and accessible user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
- Collaborate with designers and back-end developers to create visually appealing and functional websites.
- Optimize site speed, performance, and accessibility to improve user experience.
- Ensure consistency in brand styling across all digital platforms.
- Stay up to date with the latest front-end technologies, trends, and best practices.
- Conduct regular testing and debugging to enhance site reliability.
- Work closely with marketing teams to implement UI/UX designs that align with brand goals.
- Integrate third-party APIs where necessary to enhance functionality.
- Maintain version control using Git or similar tools.
- Supporting with the monthly cycle of website management, including campaigns, and performance updates.
About you:
We would love you to be on the next stage of our journey with us, delivering the amazing products that we are known for. To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of two years experience, with Shopify experience being desirable.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript , and modern frameworks such as React, Vue.js, or Angular .
- Experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS) and responsive design techniques.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles to create engaging user experiences.
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility and web accessibility standards.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and front-end integration.
- Basic understanding of SEO and web performance optimization.
- Experience with Git/GitHub for version control.
- High attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
