Delivery Manager

My client is at the beginning of a major 3‐year public‐sector transformation programme and is looking for an experienced Delivery Manager to join right at the start and help set the delivery rhythm from day one.

This is a rare opportunity to be part of the foundation of a large‐scale, high‐impact digital transformation, working across multiple discovery workstreams and supporting a blended delivery team.

What You’ll Be Doing

➡️ Leading delivery across multiple squads in discovery, alpha and beta

➡️Driving delivery momentum, managing risks, issues and dependencies

➡️Supporting backlog shaping, planning and cross‐team coordination

➡️Ensuring clear communication and alignment across product, design and technical workstreams

➡️ Working closely with senior programme leadership to keep delivery on track

What We’re Looking For

✔️ 4–5+ years’ experience as a Delivery Manager in digital environments

✔️ Strong grounding in Agile, Lean and hybrid delivery methods

✔️ Experience delivering complex, multi‐team public‐sector projects (GDS desirable)

✔️ Confident communicator able to manage senior stakeholders

✔️ Proactive, structured and able to operate autonomously

✔️ SC‐clearable (must have lived in the UK 5+ years)

Location & Working Pattern

Hybrid – Liverpool (3 days/week initially, then 2 days ongoing)

Occasional travel to London

Salary

£55k–£70k depending on experience
