IT Engineer

Location: Caerphilly (Hybrid)

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 per annum plus bonus and benefits

You’ll play a key role in supporting and improving customer environments, providing 2nd–3rd line support and delivering infrastructure and cloud projects.

What you’ll do:

• Troubleshoot and resolve 2nd–3rd line issues across infrastructure, cloud and networking
• Support and deliver IT projects including migrations, deployments and implementations
• Manage Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, VMware and Hyper-V environments
• Work with storage and backup solutions such as SAN, NAS and Veeam
• Support security technologies including firewalls, VPNs and wireless

What we’re looking for:

• Proven 2nd/3rd line support experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure and Windows Server
• Experience with virtualisation technologies (VMware, Hyper-V)
• Networking and security skills (VLANs, VPNs, firewalls)
• Backup and storage knowledge
• Certifications such as Microsoft, VMware, CompTIA or ITIL are desirable, or a willingness to work towards them

You’ll receive a tailored training and development plan, hybrid working from Caerphilly, and a salary of up to £40,000 plus £3,600 bonus and benefits.
