Financial Controller

We are currently retained by a high growth software business to recruit their Financial Controller. The business went through a transformational year in 2025 with rapid expansion into the US reflecting a 40% YoY growth. We are seeking a finance professional to take ownership of control and delivery, driving excellence and innovation. The role reports in to the Head of Finance with close collaboration with the Finance Director.

The office is based in Central London offering a hybrid working pattern (3 days per week in the office, 2 from home).

Core Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive ownership of all financial reporting and compliance.
• Preparation of statutory accounts, leading the year-end audit process.
• Drive process improvements and automation efficiencies across systems to establish a best-in-class infrastructure and value-creation services.
• Ensure legal and tax compliance across all jurisdictions, including VAT, payroll tax, and corporation tax, with timely submissions.
• Assess and manage foreign exchange (FX) exposure. .

About You:

• ACA Qualified.
• 2 + years PQ experience within a high growth SME.
• Exceptional analytical and decision-making skills.
• Experience in a data-driven tech organization is a plus.
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments.
• Strong collaborator and team player.
• Solutions orientated and proactive

Working Pattern:

• Hybrid: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.
• Salary: £75k-£85k depending on experience.
