Maximise your chances of a successful application to this job by ensuring your CV and skills are a good match.

An ambitious Fintech is looking for a Frontend Developer to help build and evolve its customer portal, the central touchpoint for clients managing transactions, onboarding, and day-to-day financial operations.

This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of new features, contribute to system architecture, and work closely with product and design teams to deliver user-friendly, high-performance solutions. You'll also play a part in coaching less experienced engineers, sharing knowledge, and helping the team raise the bar technically.

About

This fast-scaling Fintech is challenging traditional institutions by offering modern, tech-driven solutions to organisations that operate internationally. Rather than relying on legacy infrastructure, they’ve built a flexible platform that allows clients to manage currency risk, payments, and working capital needs from a single digital interface.

Since launching over a decade ago, they’ve grown into a global business with offices across Europe and beyond. Despite their scale, they remain entrepreneurial at heart, combining the culture of a high-growth startup with the stability of a publicly listed business. The environment suits engineers who are curious, commercially aware, and motivated to build products that make a tangible difference to customers.

Tech Stack

  • React + TypeScript on the frontend
  • Tailwind, SCSS, or styled components for layout and styling
  • Some backend integration in Node.js
  • AWS: e.g. Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB
  • PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, DynamoDB)
  • Testing tools like Jest or Vitest
  • CI/CD pipelines and automation tools
  • Bonus: Vite, Storybook, Framer Motion, React Query

What They're Looking For

  • Solid commercial experience building web apps with React and TypeScript (3+ years)
  • Ability to turn Figma mockups into clean, accessible, and responsive UIs
  • Comfortable working with backend APIs and managing data effectively on the frontend
  • Exposure to cloud platforms and serverless patterns (especially AWS)
  • Experience with both relational and document-based databases
  • Familiarity with automated testing and modern DevOps practices
  • Clear communicator who can collaborate across product, design, and engineering
  • Takes ownership, solves problems independently, and supports the wider team

Benefits

  • Comprehensive private health cover (with family options)
  • Enhanced parental leave for all parents
  • Cycle-to-work and electric vehicle schemes
  • Nursery benefit for childcare savings
  • Company pension scheme
  • Generous learning and development budget
  • Home office setup allowance
  • Onsite perks including a gym, PT sessions, free breakfast, and Friday drinks

If you're a product-minded engineer who enjoys solving real customer problems with well-crafted software, this could be the ideal opportunity.
