Cerner Operations Analyst
Job summary
The role will be working in the Cerner Operations Team, based at Charing Cross Hospital.
You will have the analytical and communication skills associated with the day-to-day administration and management of the Patient Administration System (PAS) and Electronic Paper Record (EPR) applications. Working with users, you will gain an understanding of their needs and issues, arrive at satisfactory resolutions, provide feedback on progress and report on your actions. The documenting of service standards and procedures will be a key requirement of the job.
You will work closely with external agencies and suppliers, developing and fostering good working relationships, managing work to ensure that the service received meets National and Trust standards within timescales and Service Level Agreements.
Interviews for the Cerner Operations Analyst position will be held atCharing Cross Hospital ICT Department Riverside Wing, Lower ground in Hammersmith.
Main duties of the job
- The holder of this post works in one of the teams in the Cerner Operations department within the ICT Application Support Team managing and supporting the Trusts PAS/EPR Applications. The team is responsible for the availability and responsiveness of the systems. Maintaining the security of the systems & integrity of the data held within them. The team is also responsible for the management of reference data where the PAS/EPR is the primary source of that data across all relevant Trust 'downstream' systems. The holder of the post must be familiar with both local trust standards, policies and procedures as well as nationally mandated policies and standards and apply these to the systems supported.
- The Cerner Operations team share the support of functionality across the team so that no one area of functionality is dependent on one member of staff; however, members of the team specialise and lead on areas of functionality.
