We’re partnering with a fast-growing healthtech company on a mission to transform primary care. Their platform supports hundreds of practices and millions of patients across Europe, helping teams spot risk earlier, act faster, and deliver care efficiently.
They’re looking for an Engineering Manager who thrives on shaping culture, scaling teams, and setting up processes and technology to enable growth across multiple countries. This is a chance to lead high-impact teams where your work will directly improve healthcare outcomes.
What You’ll Do
- Lead & grow teams across Europe: Manage, mentor, and inspire engineers to thrive in a collaborative, high-impact environment.
- Shape culture: Partner with leadership to define ways of working, instil a high-trust, high-performance culture, and embed scalable processes.
- Enable scale: Guide teams to implement robust technology, best practices, and frameworks to support rapid growth.
- Manage upwards & cross-functionally: Work closely with Product, Design, and Operations, influencing strategy at senior levels.
- Coach & develop engineers: Create clear growth paths, give constructive feedback, and help engineers reach their full potential.
- Own delivery: Ensure projects move quickly and predictably, keeping outcomes at the centre of every decision.
What You Bring ✅
- 3+ years of engineering leadership in high-growth startups or scale-ups
- Experience managing distributed teams across multiple countries
- Proven ability to shape culture, implement processes, and scale technology effectively
- Healthtech experience is a strong plus
- Strong product mindset - you care about solving the right problems, not just shipping features
- Comfortable engaging in technical discussions without needing to code everything yourself
- Hands-on familiarity with Python, React, cloud environments (AWS preferred), distributed systems, and infrastructure as code
- Ability to balance speed with rigor - ship fast, rarely break things
