Your Next Opportunity
We're currently hiring a committed Control Room Operator to join our monitoring team based in Darwen. This is a permanent role with a set 4-on / 4-off shift schedule that includes both day and night shifts. You'll play an essential role in a professional team that provides around-the-clock security services to clients across the country.

This position suits someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment with high levels of responsibility and already has experience in CCTV monitoring and control room duties. What You'll Be Doing

• Controlling access to client sites through advanced video monitoring systems
• Responding quickly and professionally to alarm activations
• Providing excellent customer service over the phone in a clear and courteous manner
• Communicating with emergency services when necessary and following strict procedures
• Writing accurate and timely incident reports

What We're Looking For
We want dependable, detail-oriented individuals who can stay calm and make good decisions under pressure. You should have:

• A valid SIA CCTV Licence (Level 2 in CCTV Operations) - required
• Be at least 18 years old - required
• Previous experience in CCTV operations and working in a busy environment
• Strong written and spoken communication skills
• The ability to stay focused and composed in challenging situations
• A proactive mindset and ability to work independently
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and on a rotating shift pattern
• A professional approach, strong attention to detail in reporting, and a passion for great service
