Position: Data Manager

Location: Cheshire (Hybrid)

Salary: Up to £50K (DOE)

My client, a Private Equity & Advisory firm, seeks a Data Manager to join their team and craft their data strategy, determine methods for data interpretation, and extract valuable insights from it.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct granular data entry tasks with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
• Lead the formulation of the company's overarching data strategy, including data acquisition, interpretation, and presentation approaches.
• Develop and refine methodologies for data acquisition
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data needs and design solutions for effective data interpretation and presentation.
• Provide support to the data asset developer in optimising data assets for enhanced usability and accessibility.

Key Skills:

• Degree educated in a relevant subject (Computer Science, Maths, Statistics or Finance) Minimum 2:1
• 3 A levels - A - C
• Experience building and developing Data sets
• Devising BI outlets by distilling complex data
• Excel, Power BI, SQL

Desirable:

• A keen interest in the financial services industry or M&A would be beneficial.
