As a Radioligand Therapy (RLT) Radiographer/Technologist, you will deliver a professional and efficient service, working alongside your colleagues in our dynamic and fast-paced sites.

As an integral part of our clinical team, your skills as a Radioligand Therapy (RLT) Radiographer/Technologist will help us to deliver on our vision to make healthcare better.

Main duties of the job

  • Undertaking supervised therapy administration procedures in line with existing modality specific clinical guidelines and protocols (CQC, IRMER 2017, IRR 2017, ARSAC, EA, HSE).
  • Undertake administrations in line with the patient referrals adhering to departmental guidelines.
  • Maintain up to date professional competencies and CPD. Be a Health and Safety supervisor for the RLT service.
  • Run Quality Assurance checks on equipment, and action as appropriate.
  • Ensures due regard is given to the customs, values and spiritual beliefs of patients and to ensure patients views are sought and taken into account.
  • Understand and adhere to the Company Health and Safety Policy.
  • Demonstrate safe, effective practice in line with the Company policies and procedures. Follow modality specific protocols, in line with requirements, to support the service.
  • Assist with the booking of patients, where appropriate.
  • Ensure Patient Information and Data Systems are maintained with accurate and up to date information.
  • To ensure the security and upkeep of all relevant patient records.

Job title: Radioligand Therapy (RLT) Radiographer/Technologist

Salary: Competitive plus a company car, or car allowance

Hours: Monday - Saturday, 36 hours per week

Location: Mobile team - covering sites throughout the UK

What you will do:

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a full driving license and is comfortable driving a car in the UK
  • Has a BSc Radiography or equivalent. 
  • Has a specific interest in training and developing your nuclear medicine, PET-CT, therapeutic radiographer skills and those of others. 
  • Is educated and compliant with regards to CQC, EA, HSE, IRR, IRMER and ARSAC principles/requirements, Health & Safety, Fire & Safety Infection Control ANTT. 
  • Is a team player who is supportive, caring, reliable and trustworthy, who gets stuck in and creates a positive atmosphere. 
  • Takes pride in their work, is passionate and delivers great customer service. 
  • Naturally instils confidence in everyone they work with.
  • Thrives on and is calm in challenging situations, working well under pressure.
  • Has self-awareness and is self-motivated to develop themselves.

  • Working with Radioligand Therapy (RLT) associated equipment in a hospital or mobile environment. 
  • Health and safety policies and procedures when it comes to Theragnostics. 
  • Working within a multi-disciplinary team.
