Delivery Manager (Agile)
Location: Leeds | Hybrid
We’re looking for an experienced Delivery Manager who thrives in complex environments, enjoys working closely with clients and knows how to turn ambitious requirements into successful technology delivery.
You’ll join a growing technology consultancy working with organisations across sectors including healthcare, defence and the wider public and private sectors, helping clients solve complex problems and deliver better digital products and services.
This is a role for someone who can operate comfortably between senior client stakeholders and multidisciplinary digital engineering teams, bringing structure, clarity and momentum to delivery without becoming overly process-driven.
What you’ll be doing
- Taking ownership of the end-to-end delivery of high-priority software development projects
- Leading multidisciplinary engineering and digital teams using Agile methodologies
- Working closely with senior technical and non-technical stakeholders to understand priorities, manage expectations and maintain strong relationships
- Translating strategic client requirements into clear, achievable work-streams and delivery plans
- Facilitating Agile ceremonies and creating the environment for teams to deliver effectively
- Identifying and removing blockers, dependencies and delivery risks
- Managing delivery governance, reporting, RAID and overall project health
- Providing clear visibility to clients and internal stakeholders around progress, risks, priorities and outcomes
- Coaching and mentoring team members, helping create high-performing delivery environments
- Challenging constructively when required and helping clients make informed decisions
- Looking beyond the immediate project to identify opportunities to add value and support longer-term client relationships
What we’re looking for
You’ll ideally have:
- Proven experience as a Delivery Manager / Agile Delivery Manage r within software, digital or technology environments
- Experience leading multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Strong Agile delivery experience and a pragmatic approach to delivery
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, including working with senior technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong risk, governance and delivery management capability
- The ability to take ambiguous or strategic requirements and turn them into structured, deliverable outcomes
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- A genuine consulting and customer-focused mindset
- Commercial awareness — understanding how great delivery can create further value for both the client and consultancy
- Experience coaching, mentoring and supporting the development of delivery teams
Experience within defence, healthcare or technology consultancy would be highly desirable.

We’re not looking for someone who simply keeps a project plan updated. We’re looking for someone who can lead delivery.
Someone who can walk into a complex client environment, understand what really matters, bring engineers and stakeholders together, remove the noise and keep everyone moving towards the right outcome.
You’ll need to be comfortable with ambiguity, confident challenging senior stakeholders and commercially minded enough to understand that successful consultancy is about building trusted relationships and delivering meaningful outcomes, not just completing a project.
