Principal Product Manager - Surrey (IC role initially)

Leading large software business is looking for a Principal Product Manager to work a permanent role (hybrid, depending on location, potentially remote), based in Surrey.

• Focus: revitalising a large, established manufacturing product that hasn’t had enough attention

Mix of:

• Early-stage discovery + investment case building
• Strategic direction (“where does this go next?”)
• Commercial ownership (P&L mindset)
• Highly customer-facing
• AI experience is key

This role is about taking an under-optimised, legacy-but-important product and turn it into a commercially successful, AI-enabled growth area

• Principal-level operator
• Strong product fundamentals > pure domain expertise in Manufacturing
• Needs to be AI-curious and god AI experience
• Must be commercially strong (P&L exposure ideal)
• Comfortable with ambiguity + shaping direction
• Happy being hands-on + outward facing with customers
