AWS Cloud Engineer

• Role: AWS Cloud Engineer
• Location: London, UK With Hybrid (2/3 Days Onsite)
• Contract: Contract | InsideIR35 | 12 Months

Overview:

Support the development and operation of software through DevOps practices, automation, and environment management.

Responsibilities include managing tools and test environments, maintaining coding standards, automating systems, and designing secure, efficient cloud solutions.

Work independently on complex stories, troubleshoot environments, and deliver DevOps solutions aligned with business needs.

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

• AWS & Cloud: EC2, ALB, ASG, EKS, CloudWatch, Grafana, Landing Zones, VPC networking, Transit Gateway
• DevOps & Automation: CI/CD pipelines, GitLab CI admin, Artifactory admin, Terraform, Bash & Python scripting
• Networking & Security: OSI model, TCP/IP, TLS handshake, firewalls, WAF, Suricata (nice-to-have), proxy experience (Squid, FortiProxy)
• General: Strong troubleshooting, quantitative/qualitative data usage, test environment management, coding and documentation standards
• Certifications: AWS certifications or equivalent experience preferred
