Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development in the UK market, Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries (Retail, CPG, OR Manufacturing).
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in selling digital transformation solutions around Data, Cloud, AI/ML, GenAI and a deep understanding of the Retail, CPG, and Manufacturing sectors. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills, who can drive growth, build strong client relationships, and steer the business towards achieving its objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the UK market.
- Must have profound ability to deal with CXO
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and networking.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales collateral and campaigns.
Client Relationship Management:
- Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers in target industries (Retail, CPG, Insurance).
- Understand client needs and provide tailored digital transformation solutions to address their business challenges.
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction and retention through exceptional service and support.
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive market penetration and growth.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and business development team.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Prepare and present regular business performance reports to senior management.
Solution Selling:
- Showcase the value of our digital transformation solutions to potential clients.
- Customize presentations and demonstrations to align with client needs and industry specifics.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets. Requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in business development or sales roles, specifically in digital transformation solutions.
- Proven track record of success in selling to Retail, CPG, and Manufacturing sectors.
- Experience in leading and managing sales teams.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of digital transformation technologies and trends.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to translate strategies into actionable plans.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
