OT Sales Specialist

We are looking for a passionate, highly motivated and experienced Operational Technology (OT) Sales Specialist to facilitate and support our business expansion within industrial IoT, and device connectivity in OT environment.

Consistency, understanding the sales process cycle and being able to engage effectively with customers over the phone are the key metrics to succeed in this role. Having a hunter mentally is essential to generate revenue from new customers / projects.

This role is most suitable for candidates are either qualified Networking Engineers or self-taught with years of relevant experience in OT field. In another word, OT technical knowledge and interest is a must!

This rewarding role offers very competitive fixed salary as well as uncapped sales

Commission, a generous % of the gross profit generated by the Sales Specialist, and excellent career progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to generate sales and revenue in IIoT space to support the continued growth
  • Proactively building and maintaining strong customer relationship with senior decision-makers to understand their automation & device connectivity needs
  • Driving the entire sales cycle: lead generation, proposal development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Engaging with customers over the phone & Teams to build sales pipeline from scratch
  • Ability to translate technical IIoT solutions into clear business value propositions.

Essential Skills

  • Solid B2B IT Networking and IIoT hardware sales experience
  • Naturally curious putting customers and their needs first
  • Interpersonal skills with outstanding business acumen
  • People's person, ability to build long term business relationships
  • Excellent telephone, listening and negotiation skills
  • Experience in solution selling or consultative sales, with a focus on long-cycle, high-value deals
