Role Overview

Our client’s Group AI team is at the forefront of scaling AI across the business, driving strategic programmes that turn cutting-edge AI and machine learning into real-world impact. Key areas of focus include responsible development practices, common platforms and capabilities, AI technology enablement, governance, and the Group-wide AI Strategy.

We’re scaling the use of Generative AI to improve productivity and effectiveness across the business, with a strong focus on responsible adoption. As part of this, we’re looking for an experienced AI Programme Manager to help drive delivery across this initiative. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful delivery of the in-house LLM-based productivity tool by providing comprehensive project management support.

Location: London, UK. This is a remote role with client visits and regular team meetings.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Oversee the overall Productivity Suite program including supporting the Product Lead in overseeing project governance, resource allocation, budget and RAIDs.
• Assist all pods in meeting established milestones, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to avoid delivery delays.
• Shape and refine the strategic delivery roadmap, ensuring it aligns with AIMS priorities and objectives.
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise impact on program delivery.
• Engage with key business stakeholders, product owners, developers, and designers to foster strong relationships to facilitate collaboration and communication.
• Lead and facilitate working group meetings, roadmap planning and workshops.
• Define and monitor KPIs, ensuring transparency and accountability across all teams.
• Own and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including program progress and performance metrics.

What You Bring

• 5–8+ years’ experience in programme or project management within complex environments
• Proven experience delivering large-scale or multi-stream programmes
• Good knowledge of AI, data, or emerging technology programmes
• Strong understanding of project and product delivery lifecycles
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including product, engineering, and business stakeholders
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Confident communicator with experience engaging senior stakeholders
• Comfortable working in dynamic, fast-paced, evolving environments
