Job Title: Sage 200 Implementation Expert – Finance & Manufacturing
Contract Type: Contract - Outside IR35
Working Hours: Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking a Sage 200 Implementation Expert with a strong finance background and hands-on experience within a manufacturing environment to lead and support the end-to-end implementation and optimisation of Sage 200.
This is a key role in ensuring our financial systems are aligned with operational needs, particularly in production, stock control, and supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the full lifecycle implementation of Sage 200 across departments

Collaborate with finance and manufacturing teams to gather requirements and translate them into system functionality

Configure and customise Sage 200 to support financial processes (GL, AP, AR, reporting) and manufacturing workflows (BOM, WIP, MRP, inventory control)

Provide training, support, and documentation for end-users

Troubleshoot system issues and liaise with Sage support partners when needed

Ensure data migration, testing, and go-live phases are executed efficiently and accurately

Drive continuous improvement post-implementation
Requirements

Proven experience in Sage 200 implementation, ideally across multiple sites or phases

Solid background in finance

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and integration with financial systems

Experience with stock control, MRP, and production reporting within Sage 200

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
Desirable

Experience with SQL, Excel, and other data/reporting tools

Knowledge of other ERP systems or integration platforms
