Role Summary

Lead and execute cutover activities for an IFS Cloud upgrade, ensuring a smooth, low-risk transition to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end cutover strategy, plan, and execution
• Develop and manage a detailed cutover runbook (hour-by-hour / step-by-step)
• Define and enforce cutover entry/exit criteria and Go/No-Go checkpoints
• Lead mock cutovers and full go-live rehearsals
• Coordinate across:
• Data migration (including final load, reconciliation, validation)
• Integrations and interface readiness
• Environment and security/access setup
• Business readiness (finance close, operational cut-offs, communications)
• Manage cutover RAID log, risks, dependencies, and rollback plans
• Establish and lead the cutover war room and command structure
• Ensure alignment between IT, business teams, and external vendors
• Oversee final data migration execution and validation sign-offs
• Support go-live, hypercare, and structured transition to BAU

Required Experience

• 8–12+ years in ERP / large-scale transformations
• Proven experience as Cutover Lead or Go-Live Manager
• Strong experience in:
• Cutover planning & execution
• Data migration coordination and validation
• Business and IT readiness alignment
• Experience managing complex dependencies across multiple workstreams
• Strong stakeholder management and delivery leadership

Preferred

• Experience with IFS / SAP / Oracle ERP
• Experience in cloud upgrade or migration programmes
• Exposure to manufacturing / project delivery environments (optional, if relevant)
