Role Summary
Lead and execute cutover activities for an IFS Cloud upgrade, ensuring a smooth, low-risk transition to production.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end cutover strategy, plan, and execution
- Develop and manage a detailed cutover runbook (hour-by-hour / step-by-step)
- Define and enforce cutover entry/exit criteria and Go/No-Go checkpoints
- Lead mock cutovers and full go-live rehearsals
- Coordinate across:
- Data migration (including final load, reconciliation, validation)
- Integrations and interface readiness
- Environment and security/access setup
- Business readiness (finance close, operational cut-offs, communications)
- Manage cutover RAID log, risks, dependencies, and rollback plans
- Establish and lead the cutover war room and command structure
- Ensure alignment between IT, business teams, and external vendors
- Oversee final data migration execution and validation sign-offs
- Support go-live, hypercare, and structured transition to BAU
Required Experience
- 8–12+ years in ERP / large-scale transformations
- Proven experience as Cutover Lead or Go-Live Manager
- Strong experience in:
- Cutover planning & execution
- Data migration coordination and validation
- Business and IT readiness alignment
- Experience managing complex dependencies across multiple workstreams
- Strong stakeholder management and delivery leadership
Preferred
- Experience with IFS / SAP / Oracle ERP
- Experience in cloud upgrade or migration programmes
- Exposure to manufacturing / project delivery environments (optional, if relevant)
