AI Solution Architect (GenAI)

£800/day (Inside IR35) | 6-month contract | Fully remote (UK)

We're supporting a leading UK insurance organisation to hire an AI Solution Architect to shape and deliver enterprise-grade Generative AI and integration solutions. You'll own solution design end-to-end, guide governance, and ensure secure, scalable patterns are adopted across value streams.

What you'll do

• Lead solution design from ideation → delivery, ensuring measurable value through implementation.
• Define RAG architectures and retrieval pipelines; select and design around vector databases.
• Design evaluation frameworks (MES / LLM-as-a-Judge) and operationalise quality controls.
• Implement prompt management (versioning/testing/lifecycle) suitable for production.
• Design guardrails and risk controls (prompt injection, hallucinations, bias).
• Drive standardised integrations using MCP and strong integration security practices.
• Collaborate with senior engineers and stakeholders; produce clear, decision-grade documentation.

What we're looking for

• Strong GenAI orchestration experience: LangChain / AutoGen / Google ADK (or similar).
• Cloud GenAI services: AWS Bedrock / Azure AI / Vertex AI.
• Proven integration architecture: REST APIs, event-driven patterns, transformation, security.
• Comfortable leading governance conversations and influencing decisions across teams.

Nice to have

• MLOps, AKS/GKE, regulated/financial services environments.

Rate/terms: £800 per day Inside IR35, 6 months, fully remote.
