Detailed Job Description:

Must have skills:

-Storage : IBM SAN, Lenovo NAS and Brocade Switch (10+ experience Years)

-Backup : IBM Backup Tool (Spectrum Protect)

*Previous experience from IBM preferable

Key Responsibilities:

Manage & administer IBM Storage platforms.

Perform storage provisioning, zoning, replication, firmware upgrades, and performance tuning.

Administer IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM) backup environment including schedules, policies, restores, failover , fail back and disk storage operations.

Manage SAN fabrics (Brocade/Cisco), zoning, switch upgrades, and fabric health.

Experience with datacenter operations, including hardware installation and troubleshooting.

Act as L3 escalation for critical storage & backup incidents.

Plan and execute DR drills, storage migrations, and capacity expansion

Strong hands-on experience with IBM Spectrum Protect (TSM) & IBM FlashSystem/SVC.

Solid understanding of SAN/FC, multipathing, VMware / AIX storage integrations.

Experience with replication technologies (FlashCopy, GM, MM).

Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.

Create technical documentation, SOPs, and automation scripts (Bash/Python/PowerShell), Should have Proficiency in scripting for automation.
