AS400/RPG Application Support Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L2/L3 application support for AS400 (IBM i) systems.
Develop, support, and maintain applications using RPG III, RPG IV, and ILE RPG.
Handle Incident, Problem, and Change Management in line with ITIL processes.
Perform root cause analysis and ensure timely resolution of production issues.
Work closely with business users and cross functional teams to ensure system stability.
Support Legacy systems with a focus on availability, performance, and reliability.
Required Skills:
Strong hands-on experience in AS400/IBM iSeries
Expertise in RPG III, RPG IV, and ILE RPG
Proven experience in Application Support/AMS (L2/L3)
Solid knowledge of ITIL based Incident, Problem, and Change Management
Good communication and documentation skills
