Mainframe Modernization Specialist

Mainframe Modernization Specialist, working remotely from the UK (aligned to German business hours).

 Role Overview:

• Location: Remote (UK-based)
• Contract: Inside IR35
• Start: Immediate

 Key Requirements:

• Strong experience in Mainframe re-hosting/modernization
• Hands-on migration of Cobol, CICS, JCL, DB2, VSAM workloads to AWS
• Expertise with Rocket Software toolset:
  • Enterprise Analyzer
  • Enterprise Developer
  • Data Replicate/Sync
• Experience with Micro Focus Enterprise Server/Developer
• Strong background in:
  • Application assessment & remediation
  • Functional equivalence & regression testing
  • Performance validation
• Exposure to Linux, SQL, Scripting (Python/PowerShell/Perl)
• CI/CD experience (eg, Jenkins) and AWS deployments
