VDI Platform Engineer - SC Clearance Mandatory

Candidates must be strong VDI platform engineers with hands-on Horizon experience (not desktop support), with good exposure to vSphere and en terprise VDI operations.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with VMware/Omnissa Horizon (VDI platform)
• Solid understanding of Horizon architecture (Connection Servers, UAG, Pods, Pools, Images)
• Experience managing enterprise VDI environments (run & operations)
• Good knowledge of vSphere (vCenter, ESXi)
• Proven experience in VDI performance tuning & troubleshooting (end-to-end)
• Strong Windows Server knowledge (AD, GPO, DNS, authentication)
• Experience supporting Windows/Linux VDI desktops
• Strong problem-solving across platform, infrastructure, and user experience

Good-to-Have Skills

• Experience with App Volumes/application layering tools
• Knowledge of Dynamic Environment Manager (DEM) or similar profile tools
• Exposure to NSX/network segmentation in VDI setups
• Experience in regulated/high-availability environments
• Exposure to VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF)/platform engineering
• Basic understanding of storage and networking in VDI ecosystems
