Implementation Consultant
The Infor Consulting Services Organization is looking for a Consultant to join our team supporting clients across the UK and Europe.
Using your experience in consulting and/or consumer goods, you’ll bring thought leadership and client understanding to solve complex and strategic issues. You’ll work on a variety of projects ranging from complex data analysis to software implementations, and play a key role in driving change management.
As a Consultant, you’ll collaborate closely with our development and consulting teams to implement software solutions and deliver strategic consulting services. You’ll work with cross-functional colleagues and clients to design and deliver solutions that address complex business challenges, combining technical implementation with business strategy.
A Day in the Life Typically Includes:
- Acting as an expert and advocate for Infor applications and technology
- Providing consultative guidance and technical assistance to users, following Infor’s implementation methodology
- Decomposing complex problems into manageable pieces and communicating effectively with both business and technical stakeholders
- Presenting to senior audiences, focusing on business value and solution impact
- Designing, developing, documenting, and delivering solution architectures that meet client needs
- Building and maintaining effective relationships with customers throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensuring design and development standards are upheld
- Supporting onboarding and training for new team members, emphasizing on-the-job learning and early responsibility
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in consulting, commercial roles for consumer brands, or relevant technical fields
- Experience with building integration flows between applications and data preparation workflows
- Proficiency in analytics tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Power BI, Birst, and Infor ION
- Ability to handle large data sets and deliver visualizations and insights
- Strong customer-facing consulting experience
- Reliability and deadline-driven approach
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Team player with strong peer and interpersonal relationship skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytic skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Databricks, Data Factory, Logic Apps, or similar technologies
- Background in consumer goods or strategy consulting
- Exposure to both data engineering and analytics (candidates with both may be rare, but either is valuable)
