Role Description
The P6 Planner is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Midlands, with flexibility for some work from home. The role involves developing, maintaining, and updating project schedules in Primavera P6 for construction and infrastructure projects, ensuring that timelines, dependencies, and milestones are accurately captured. The P6 Planner will work closely with project managers, engineers, and BIM/Information Management teams to integrate scheduling data with project information models and reporting tools. Typical tasks include progress tracking, critical path analysis, resource and cost loading, scenario planning, and preparing clear schedule reports and dashboards for internal and client stakeholders. The planner will also support process optimisation, contribute to schedule-related risk assessments, and help drive standardised planning best practices across projects.

Qualifications
- Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 for schedule development, maintenance, critical path analysis, and reporting.
- Experience in construction or infrastructure project planning, including understanding of project lifecycle, work breakdown structures, and resource and cost loading.
- Familiarity with BIM and Information Management concepts, Common Data Environments, and standards such as PAS 1192 and ISO 19650 (Bentley ProjectWise experience is an advantage).
- Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting using tools such as Excel, Power BI, or similar, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement from the Midlands, manage time efficiently, and maintain high attention to detail.
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience in engineering, construction management, project management, or a related discipline.
- Professional planning or project management certifications (e.g., APM, PMI, or similar) are beneficial.
