Do you want to work alongside Architects and Senior Consultants, gaining exposure to complex enterprise networking projects while continuing to develop your technical skills?
This is a fantastic opportunity for a Cisco Network Project Engineer who enjoys hands-on delivery and wants to progress towards becoming a Senior Consultant or Technical Architect in the future.
You'll be joining a growing Professional Services team, delivering enterprise networking projects across a diverse customer base. Working alongside Senior Consultants and Architects, you'll assist in the deployment, migration and installation of cutting-edge networking solutions, taking ownership of project delivery while learning from experienced technical specialists.
The Role
As a Project Engineer, you'll be heavily involved in the implementation and migration of enterprise network solutions across customer sites.
This is a delivery-focused role-not pre-sales or solution design. You'll work from established designs and support the Senior Consultant or Technical Architect with the successful implementation of projects.
Responsibilities
- Deliver enterprise networking projects across customer environments.
- Install, configure and migrate Cisco networking and wireless solutions.
- Support Senior Consultants and Technical Architects during complex deployments.
- Carry out network upgrades, refreshes and infrastructure migrations.
- Configure Switches, wireless controllers and access points.
- Perform testing, troubleshooting and technical validation.
- Produce implementation documentation and project handover notes.
- Attend customer sites across London as part of project delivery.
- Continue developing your technical capability through mentoring, certifications and hands-on project work.

- Firewalls
- Network migrations and deployments
Highly Desirable
Exposure to GPON (Gigabit Passive Optical Networks) including:
- OLT (Optical Line Terminal)
- ONT (Optical Network Terminal)
- Fibre network deployments
About You
- Ideally CCNA or CCNP Enterprise certified (or working towards CCNP).
- Experience delivering networking projects within a Professional Services or MSP environment.
- Strong hands-on implementation skills.
- Comfortable working on customer sites and interacting professionally with clients.
- Passionate about learning new technologies and progressing your career.
- Keen to work alongside experienced Architects and Senior Consultants to accelerate your development.
