Customer Support Technician - 1st Line Support

Location: Havant, Portsmouth (office-based, full-time) - candidates must be based and eligible to work in the UK

We are supporting a growing IT consulting and solutions provider that works with businesses across the UK in delivering modern cloud and infrastructure support. They are looking for a Customer Support Technician (1st Line Support) to join their team.

In this role, you will be the initial contact for technical inquiries, taking ownership of user issues handling 1st line fixes and escalating more complex cases to the wider engineering team when required.

Role Overview:

  • Respond to incoming support requests
  • Deliver clear, professional customer service
  • Troubleshoot and resolve common 1st line issues
  • Keep ticket notes and communication up to date

Must haves

  • MSP background is crucial!
  • Track record in delivering high-quality customer service
  • Ideally, experience with Microsoft 365 admin
  • Familiarity with RMM/PSA tools
  • Basic knowledge of modern device management such as Intune, Entra ID etc.
